Rounding processing
In the assembly process for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, there are some cases where the tip of the lead terminal accidentally contacts sealing rubber or an aluminum case which could result in damage or breakage.
By applying rounding process to the tip of the lead terminal, the risk of damage or breakage in the assembly process can be reduced, which contributes to the enhancement of reliability of aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
When making a comparison between the product applied with rounding processing applied (left) and the unprocessed product (right), it is clear that the tip of the rounding-processed product has a smooth shape.
