Front-back Discriminative Type

When elements (aluminum foil) are wound around the pressed part of lead terminal, if the side with burrs would contact the foil, breakage of the foil could be occurred to cause short circuit in aluminum capacitors.

To keep the side without bars (front) would contact the foil should be necessary. Owing to the lead terminals of Kohoku would make customers discriminate between both sides with burrs (front) and without burrs (back). Customers can easily contact the side without burs with the aluminum foil and avoid breakage of the foil in aluminum capacitors which would cause malfunction of electric appliances.

Kohoku Kogyo has improved the die and achieved this type which allows clear discrimination between the front and the back.
