Our Approach to Sustainability

Basic Sustainability Policy

Under our management philosophy of "Practicing participatory management that respects diverse individuality and aiming to be a one-of-a-kind company through the creation of new value," our group contributes to the realization of a sustainable society through its business activities and aims to enhance corporate value from a medium- to long-term perspective. Regarding sustainability promotion, we will focus on the materiality identified by our group, centered on "Environment," "Social," and "Governance," and practice responsible sustainability management.

Purpose

"Contributing to the realization of a safe, secure, and comfortable society through the creation of new value."

Materiality

Materiality <Environment>
Addressing Climate Change At our sites, including headquarters and factories, we are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by introducing renewable energy sources such as solar power generation. In the future, we will set and work towards greenhouse gas reduction targets for each department.
Development of Environmentally Friendly Products Based on the technology we have cultivated, we will develop environmentally friendly products and realize the achievement of environmental goals, including those of our customers.
Materiality <Social>
[From the Perspective of Employment]
Cultivating Autonomous Human Resources
Who Challenge Value Creation
To solve the challenges of cutting-edge markets with unique products and services, we will enhance our human capital. We aim to cultivate human resources who anticipate social needs and think and act proactively.
Creating a Safe and Secure Workplace We respect the human rights and diversity of all employees and will build a workplace environment where each employee can demonstrate their abilities and feel the joy of growth.
Materiality <Social>
[From the Perspective of Local Communities]
Contribution to Local Communities Focusing on "resource circulation," "people's interaction," and "biodiversity" in the region, we aim to practice the circulation of "people," "nature," and "economy" centered on our head office, and bring smiles to the faces of local people.
Conservation of Local Biodiversity
Materiality <Governance>
[From the Perspective of Social Contribution and Profit Generation]
Improving Management Transparency and Soundness To build a management system that can respond quickly to changes in the business environment, we will strengthen corporate governance by utilizing outside directors with diverse skills and experience, aiming for sustainable improvement in corporate value.
Promotion of Sustainability Management We will build a sustainability management system optimal for our company, based on the expectations for sustainability activities required by society.
Strengthening Risk Management As the external environment surrounding our company is constantly changing significantly, we will identify the risks we face, formulate action plans for them, and aim for sustainable improvement in corporate value.
