Kohoku Kogyo was established in 1959 and started lead terminal business for aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Since then Kohoku Kogyo have been supplying for more than 50 years, and products are used in all digital home electricity represented as flat TV and automotive electronics.

The demand of capacitor has increased rapidly in recent years due to growth of electronic devise and hardware, then Kohoku Kogyo succeeded in changing production line to full automated system from manual system, and dominated in this market to gain 40% share. The key to success is Kohoku Kogyo established automation line by in-house design work then it could make such complicated process automate like press work after welding process of different materials like Fe/Cu/Al automate ed the complicated production process.

At present, 700 units of automation machines has been deployed at every plant at headquarter and overseas. In addition Kohoku Kogyo has developed the washing technology of lead terminal, and forming technology of chemical film on aluminum.
As a result of endless effort, Kohoku Kogyo has established the world's highest level of volume production technology and QC system, then developed production line of clients by taking advantage of these know-how.
