Kohoku Kogyo produces and sells optical products used in the optical fiber communication network by taking advantage of the production technology for high accuracy multi-hole ferrule made of ceramics and quartz glass by Kohoku Kogyo original method which was originally developed by Kohokukgyo.

Ferrule

Interconnection part of two optical fibers with highly accuracy.
Alignment part of optical fiber with highly precise in the optical devices.
Kohoku Kogyo has extensive experience of multi-hole ferrule where more than two holes are aligned precisely.

Pigtail

Fiber assembly that ferrule and optical fiber are attached by glue and put AR coating on tip-end of ferrule after optical polishing.
Used for optical switch and optical power monitor.

Fiber array

Fiber assembly which multiple optical fibers are precisely aligned in regular intervals by using multi-hole capillary and v-groove.
Used for splitter, modulator, optical switch.
